Our Story

The journey of Suresh Fresh Fruit began in 2003, when T. S. Suresh entered the fresh fruit trade at the former Manning Market in Pettah. Working within one of Sri Lanka’s most active wholesale fruit markets gave him valuable practical experience in fruit selection, sourcing, wholesale trading, supplier coordination, customer service and daily market operations.

Established

Over the following five years, this experience created a strong understanding of the fresh fruit industry and the changing requirements of commercial customers. It also revealed the importance of dependable sourcing, careful product selection and clear communication when serving businesses that rely on regular fresh fruit supplies.

Building on this knowledge, Suresh Fresh Fruit was officially established on 1 January 2008. The business began with a strong foundation in the wholesale fruit market and gradually expanded its operations by directly importing selected fresh fruits and sourcing quality local produce from Sri Lankan farmers.

This combination of international sourcing and direct local relationships enabled the company to offer a wider and more dependable fresh fruit selection. It also helped Suresh Fresh Fruit strengthen its ability to meet the quality, quantity and service expectations of professional customers.

Today, Suresh Fresh Fruit supplies leading 5-star hotels, shipping-related businesses, wholesalers and other commercial customers across Sri Lanka. The company continues to grow through dependable sourcing, responsive service, careful handling and long-term business relationships.
